Shipment & Delivery

Items are directly delivered to the shipping address mentioned on the order form. Orders are shipped by the carrier chosen by Finestwine.
Delivery schedule depends on the final recipient's location. The delivery time specified in this section (72 hours for the US - 24 hours for the EU) is only indicative and must not be considered as contractual. Finestwine.com shall not be held responsible for any delay in delivery due to the carrier.

Insurance & Guarantee

FinestWine.com will take care of all expenses linked to loss or damage of goods during transport. In case of damage, loss or missing items, the recipient must specify the condition of goods on the delivery receipt before signing it and shall contact Finestwine.com within 24 hours following delivery, either by registered post or by email providing proof of prejudice. In that case, FinestWine.com will ship the same items to the customer again or will refund the customer.

FinestWine.com cannot be held responsible if the recipient is not at home on delivery attempt, or/and if the recipient only picks up his/her parcel several days after reception of calling card.
Under the above-mentioned circumstances, no claim for damage will be accepted.

Liability

The customer is the only person responsible for the choice of ordered items and for their proper conservation after delivery. Items available in this section are perishable goods and should therefore be consumed before the use-by date. Items should not be consumed if they seem deteriorated or altered for any reason or if the customer is allergic to one or various ingredients indicated on the product label or on our website.
In no case shall finestwine.com be held responsible for any damage linked to one of the above-mentioned circumstances.

FinestWine.com will not be held responsible if the law or local legislation in force in the country of delivery have not been respected by the customer. Customs duties, sales taxes or any other local taxes will have to be paid by the customer.

In any case and whatever the prejudice, Finestwine.com liability will be limited to the smallest of the following amounts:
1. amount of direct prejudice to the customer
or
2. amount of ordered goods

Quality Guarantee

FinestWine.com insures the customer that items available in this section are made according to strict quality and conservation standards which are true to French norms in force.
FinestWine.com will see to it that the quality of these items are constantly maintained.

FinestWine.com will not be liable for damages linked to a consumption of the product beyond the used-by date indicated on the item package or if the product was not kept in proper storing conditions by the customer after delivery.
