Iskilde (Denmark)

Iskilde is a spring with unusual properties. It was found in 2002 centrally in the Mossø¸ Reservation area, between Yding Skovhøj, which until recently was believed to be the highest point in Denmark â€“ and Mossø¸ Lake.
The reservoir of the spring lies more than 50 meters below the ground, but the water is under so much pressure, that it would reach the surface as a fountain, if left on its own.
The fact that the water-reservoir is under such pressure means that it is closed for penetration of new water. This is probably one of the reasons why the water is so pure.
Ground water in Denmark has an average temperature of between 8 and 12 degrees all year round. With a temperature of below 8 degrees, Iskilde is an unusually cold spring.

Voss (Norway)

Voss Sparkling Artesian water is lightly carbonated in the style of the famous European sources, distinguished by its fine persistent bubbles. Artesian Water is water collected from a confined, underground aquifer, a water, bearing , impermable layer or rock, sand or ice. When tapped into, the aquifer is pressurized enough to allow the water to rise up naturally through the ground without the use of mechanical pumps. Because the water is protected by this impermeable layer, it does not come into contact with the air or other pollutants. Voss Artesina Water form Norway, comes from an aquifer in the pristine nature by layers of rock and ice, producing a pure water unlike any other.
Spring water is derived from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth.
Purified water is water that has been produced by distillation, deionization, reverse osmosis or other suitable processes.
Mineral water is water naturally containing no less than 250 parts per million total dissolved solids (TDS) and which keeps this level at a relative constant.
Natural Sparkling water is water that after treatment and possible replacement with carbon dioxide contains the same amount of carvbon dioxide that is had as it emerged from the source.

TY NANT BLUE (Wales)

Amongst the mysteries of human powers is the art of water divination. Drawn by an unseen force, the water diviner can locate exactly the source of vast amounts of underground water. In this way an eminent local water diviner, invited to source water for domestic use on farmland surrounding the small hamlet of Bethania, discovered in 1976 a powerful spring, the source of what has become a cause celebre in Welsh rural development.
Acting on the diviner's instruction, a borehole was sunk through one hundred feet of rock and upon tasting the water, the diviner declared it to be the purest he had ever tasted. Subsequent stringent analysis confirmed the water's naturally pure, well balanced composition, ideal for drinking.
Having broken all the rules in 1989 when Ty Nant took the market by storm with the cobalt-blue glass bottle, 2001 saw Ty Nant once again bringing design leadership and visionary form to the soft drinks market, with the bold launch of the ground-breaking PET bottle.From its humble origins in the unspoilt countryside of mid Wales, Ty Nant Natural Mineral Water met with immediate success upon its launch on to the soft drinks market at the London Savoy in 1989. TAU (Wales)

Ty Nant's recently launched TAU range has scooped it's second major design award - winning the prestigious 'Best Bottle in Glass' Award at the 2004 'Bottledwaterworld Design Awards'.

Antipodes (New Zealand)

The water comes from a deep 500 – 1000ft deep pressured aquifer and has a residency of about 50 years while filtering through a sub strata of ignimbrite. The area of recharge for the aquifer is the Rotoma Hills, which has a historically low human population density, less than 1 person per 250 acre, with no commercial or industrial activity. Antipodes mineral water is bottled at the source in Otakiri, Bay of Plenty.
Great presentation as the bottle expresses terroir and is a modern take on the old fashioned New Zealand beer flask.

Elsenham (England)

The aquifer has remained untouched for centuries having once been under the sea, which left behind layers of protection down to this confined chalk aquifer. This has been confirmed as being a great discovery. The confined aquifer acts as a natural filter taking decades in the process resulting in the purest water you can get. This measures 300 metres thick with enormous reserves and is able to be called artesian spring water because the water comes from underground from a confined aquifer, which is a pressurised chamber.

Voda (Serbia)

Medium mineral content water with nice levels of bicarbonates from a source, long associated with healing waters, in a very modern plastic bottle not out of place in an epicurean setting.
Voda is the natural spring water from the Vrujci Spa, which has been famous since the end of the XIX century. The Vrujci Spa is in the north-western part of Serbia, at the northern base of the Suvobor mountains in the Toplica River valley.
The water emerging from the spring comes from a depth of 896ft, and it is naturally filtered through lime-stone layers. Its original state of the water is preserved by bottling it directly from the spring, without additional treatments and chemical processes. The water is carbon dated to 7. 700 ± 150 years.
