Chateau Lafaurie Peyraguey
Exceptional Sauternes, considered by Robert Parker to be one of the five or six finest domaines of the Appellation. Vinified by Georges Pauli, the wines have been an outstanding success since the 1980s on account of a tireless drive for improvement without compromise. Reducing the percentage of Sauvignon Blanc, ageing the wine in new oak barrels, and an ever-stricter selection has borne fruit – as well as the creation of a second wine, ‘La Chapelle de La faurie'. |
