In the 1940's, an italian named Septime CECCHINI and coming from the florentine mountains, land up in Medoc, Bordeaux. He works to save the littoral and falls inlove with the place...and also with a women native from Pauillac. The get married and had 8 boys.
Mr CECCHINI is granted french citizenship, improves his mind, takes exams and becomes postman in Jau Digna Loirac in Medoc. Aside from his job, this good food amator acquires a vineyard which he uprooted the hybrid vines in order to plant noble ones.
It's area moved from 43 ares (about 5150 square yards) in 1967 to 4 hectares (9.8 acres) in 1986.
On that date, Gino one of the son bought back to his fater the vineyard, now he serves in the french cavalry. Until 1987, harvest were taken to the wine cooperative. But during his service years, he didn't loose of sigtht his native Medoc and little by little, buys here and there adjoining plots whith this brother Florent to extend the vineyard.
In 1988, when going back home, he left the cooperative to make his own wine.
In 1990, Gino CECCHINI finds what he was looking for : a house in the middle of his lands, he completed his dram by becoming homeowner with his brother and now is taking care of his 18 hectares property.
