Roudier's past
The creation of the vineyards of Château Roudier goes back to the 18th century.
This magnificent estate of 42 hectares, of which 30 are planted in vines, has for several generations belonged to the Berthon family, of which Jacques Capdemourlin is the descendent.
Thanks to an exceptional exposition, Château Roudier is situated on the southern slopes of Saint-Georges and Montagne, facing the northern slopes of Saint-Emilion.
Bordering the Saint-Emilion appellation, the estate is composed of the noble varietals, carefully selected and planted to correspond best to the limestone-clay and siliceous-clay terroirs.

An exceptional terroir
The wine produced is supple, fruity, with a lovely bouquet and exquisite finesse, expressing the generous qualities of Saint-Emilion wines.
The long reputation for quality still stands, as proven by the strong commercial interest in Château Roudier.
