Undoubtedly, this Second Wine of a First Classified Growth, Château Bahans Haut Brion, is a great wine on its own merits.

This all contributes to making the wine full of charm and finesse.

It can be tasted young, except for certain vintages which absolutely must be left to rest for a few years in the cellar.

The success of the vintage 86 coincides with a new stage at Chateau Belgrave who is using the expertise of oenologist Michel Rolland.
