François de Péguilhan, marquis de Terme, became the owner of the vineyard in the fifteenth century. History wrapped the destiny of the Marquis but the vineyard kept its aristocratic name.
From that time on, several prestigious owners ran the estate with the same passion to make the Marquis de Terme wine even better each year.
At the beginning of the century, the Feuillerat family purchased the estate with the objective of keeping this classified growth an allure which is in its range and rank. As a main innovation, they came to the idea of bottling a second wine for those blending produced under the standards of a classed growth of the Margaux Appellation.
Once again, history tumultuous flow carried this family away but its devotion to the château had had already brought out the charm and finesse characteristics of the Haut-Médoc vineyards.
The present owner belongs the second generation of the family Sénéclauze, who was already involved in wine business for Algerian wines before the French venture. The success of the vintage is nowadays due to the expertise of Jean Sénéclauze, who puts out an ambitious program of wine culture.

The duet wouldn’t be perfect without the following grape varieties: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet-Franc, Petit-Verdot.
