Domaine de Suremain – Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise - France
Domaine de Suremain’s vineyard stretches over two areas: the Monthélie Reds situated in the Côte de Beaune bring elegance, feminity and finesse to the Château Monthélie. And the Rully situated in the Côte Chalonnaise, bring an elegant and intense bouquet. The Estate pays great attention to the winemaking and harvests are hand-picked. White wines are fermented in oak barrels while red wines are fermented in wood vats. The red wines then remain in barrels for 16 to 20 months depending on cuvees and years.
From 1996, the Suremain domain has turned towards organic wine-making. It consists in using no fungicide and pesticide and maintaining soil fertility and the ecosystem through natural methods.
