Languedoc

The vineyard of Languedoc-Roussillon is located in the south of France. It owns its origins to the Greeks and Romans. Steeped not only in a great vine growing tradition, Languedoc-Roussillon also offers beautiful landscapes and historical monuments. Languedoc wines have long been regarded as favouring quantity over quality, but it changed in the 70s. Back in that time, much researchs were started to study the characteristics of the soil, methods of vine-growing, yield control..., in order to make high quality wines. Today, the wines of the region are present in all the finest restaurants around the world.
