Rousseau A.

The vineyard of Domaine Armand Rousseau extends over 17 hectares, including 8 hectares of Grand Cru and 3 hectares of Premier Cru appellation. These plots are located around the communes of Gevrey-Chamberlin and Morey-Saint-Denis. The growing of vines is traditional and reasoned. The vines are composed entirely of Pinot Noir, and the average age of the vines is between 40 and 45 years. The wines are raised in 100% new oak barrels for Chambertin and Chambertin Clos de Bèze, 70-100% for the Clos Saint-Jacques. In recent years, despite the disparity of the "cuvées", the Armand Rousseau wines have exceptional consistency in quality.
