Hermitage

Born in 1937, the French AOC Hermitage is located slightly above Valence in south-eastern France. Its vineyard extends over 136 hectares. Steeped in a long history of vine growing tradition, this region produces wines under different names since the Roman times. The current name seems to take its origin in the 17th century. The Hermitage wines have significant aging potential. Powerful, round and smooth, they develop finesse and complexity over the years.
